ibis budget Lugano Paradiso

The hotel is situated only 5 minutes walking from Lugano-Paradiso trainstation. Personal speaks good English and is approachable. The room is what you can expect from IBIS. Beds where on the hard side but dowable.

This is a budget hotel and does exactly as it says on the paper. So nicely set out, clean, simple rooms. Good for a short stay, especially when someone is there for work.

Shared Hotel: Ibis Budget, Ibis, Novotel. Think of boarding an airplane: you walk through first and business class and take the economy seat in the back. The very good breakfast buffet of Novotel is open to all guests. ++ There are two car charging stations in the parking (Type 1 and 2 available), usual RFID cards should work. WiFi speed was decent, though not encrypted.

Hotel was very close to the city center, was available until late at night and was quite clean!

Location is excellent. Few steps to Funicular to the mountain! From Lugano center 25 min nice walk by the embankment. Small but nice for rest for the night room. With everything you need. Second floor bad for the kid). On reception you can get Ticino ticket.
